Drupal: Reinstall a module

Sure you can uncheck a module and then recheck it to simulate a reinstallation of a module, but that action doesn’t always do the same as installing a module like it has never been installed before.

To fool Drupal that a module isn’t installed, you can remove the record in the system table.

Example (“uninstall” breadcrumb):

delete

FROM `drupal_system`

WHERE name LIKE '%breadcrumb%'
